[ENG] The Ferrymen Release New Single “Mother Unholy” from Upcoming Album

Melodic metal trio The Ferrymen—Magnus Karlsson, Ronnie Romero, and Mike Terrana—have unleashed their latest single “Mother Unholy” from their forthcoming album Iron Will, set for release on January 24, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

This epic track is steeped in heavy riffs, orchestral grandeur, and gripping storytelling. The lyrics, written by Jane Gillard, explore the transformation of a nun whose pure heart is corrupted by the hypocrisy surrounding her, ultimately leading her to darkness.

Vocalist Ronnie Romero describes the song as:
“The most epic song of the album! I loved how Magnus created such an atmosphere for this track. It was a joy to sing on something so heavy and yet so epic—I believe fans are going to love this one!”

Guitarist and songwriter Magnus Karlsson adds:
“I thrive on writing and producing epic material, and this track is a perfect example. The themes of light and dark are central to the story, and they’re reflected in the powerful music. Working with Ronnie and Mike is always a blast—it’s pure fire!”

Drummer Mike Terrana shares his excitement:
“Every time we work together, it’s a magical combination of energy and creativity. This song is heavy and dynamic, and the production really brings out the best in all of us!”

Iron Will promises to deliver everything fans love about The Ferrymen: thunderous drums, intricate guitars, and soaring vocals.
