Finnish melodic metal band Unén is excited to announce the release of their new track “Sky”.
The song takes listeners on a journey into a world where time doesn’t exist, and dreams become reality.
Lead singer Stina Girs explains the song’s concept:
“A dream of a secret door leading to a world where no one judges, there is no concept of time, you can be everything you want, and fantasies are real. You dare to let go of reality. This is all what ‘Sky’ is about.”
Unén, based in Helsinki, Finland, blends melodic metal with elements of progressive and pop, offering a sound that balances both intensity and sensitivity. After forming in late 2021 and undergoing lineup changes, Unén found their unique direction with the addition of Stina Girs as lead vocalist in 2023. The band’s first release, a cover of “Made of Stone”, came out in May 2023, marking the beginning of their new musical chapter.
Unén signed with Frontiers Music in February 2024, giving them the opportunity to share their evolving sound with the world.
