Symphonic metal giants EPICA are thrilled to announce the release of their 9th studio album, Aspiral, set to drop on April 11th via Nuclear Blast Records. The album’s title is inspired by the iconic bronze sculpture Aspiral, created by Polish artist Stanisław Szukalski in 1965. The piece symbolizes renewal and inspiration, two key themes that define EPICA in 2025. Much like Szukalski’s work, which reveals layers of meaning, every song on Aspiral stands alone with a unique vibe, yet they come together to form a monumental statement.
The album, featuring breathtaking cover art by Hedi Xandt (known for his work with Rammstein, Ghost, and Parkway Drive), is now available for pre-order in multiple formats. Special editions even include BluRay and audio recordings from EPICA’s Symphonic Synergy performance in Amsterdam in 2024, featuring a full orchestra and choir.
Recorded once again at Sandlane Studios and expertly mixed and produced by Joost van den Broek, Aspiral consists of 11 brand-new tracks, including the explosive anthem “Cross the Divide.”
