Monstereophonic (Theaterror vs Demonarchy)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I <span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Lordi<\/span> con questa loro ottava fatica sono ben decisi a fare il salto di qualit\u00e0 e a dimostrarci di essere musicisti capaci di dare quel qualcosa in pi\u00f9, ma andiamo con ordine.<\/p>\n<p>Ai primi album che ci avevano fatto conoscere ed apprezzare il loro grezzo ma accattivante e orecchiabile hard rock\/metal erano seguite un paio di uscite abbastanza sottotono, che avevano lasciato l\u2019amaro in bocca ai propri followers; ma gi\u00e0 con \u2018Scare Force One\u2019 del 2014, anche se non ancora al 100%, avevano raddrizzato il tiro, riavvicinandosi ai loro standard abituali.<\/p>\n<p>Ora questo \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Monstereophonic<\/span>\u201d, come da loro stessi dichiarato nelle varie presentazioni, dovrebbe fare da spartiacque nella produzione della loro carriera; il CD, composto da 14 brani, \u00e8 di per s\u00e9 diviso in due parti distinte; la prima , \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Theaterror<\/span>\u201d, che rappresenta il passato, le origini della band, con brani eseguiti nel loro classico stile fatto di riff semplici, chorus catchy e testi irriverenti; e la seconda, \u2018<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Demonarchy\u2019<\/span>, che racchiude un mini concept ed \u00e8 composta da tracce pi\u00f9 elaborate negli arrangiamenti e pi\u00f9 lunghe rispetto ai loro standard (dai 5 ai 7 minuti).<\/p>\n<p>Il risultato di questa operazione \u00e8 sicuramente soddisfacente, entrambe le parti sono realizzate con cura e si nota l\u2019attenzione posta in questo lavoro.<\/p>\n<p>Non nascondo che essendo un loro vecchio estimatore ho ascoltato con piacere la prima met\u00e0 dedicata al passato; tracce come \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Down With The Devil<\/span>\u201d, \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Sick<\/span> <span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Flick<\/span>\u201d o la riuscitissima \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Let\u2019s Go Slaughter He-Man<\/span>\u201d (si\u2026 proprio l\u2019He- Man del cartone animato) mi hanno riportato indietro di una decina d\u2019anni, mentre mi ha lasciato un po\u2019 perplesso la scelta di \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Hug You Hardcore<\/span>\u201d come singolo accompagnato da un video, ultra censurato e molto esplicito, fin troppo esagerato a mio parere (vedere la versione Uncensored per credere).<\/p>\n<p>Sono invece rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla seconda parte del CD.&nbsp; Nonostante mi fossi avvicinato con diffidenza al suo ascolto, devo dire che i Lordi sono stati capaci di smentirmi; pur mantenendo i loro caratteristici chorus, molte tracce si sono rivelate sorprendentemente potenti ed elaborate, come per esempio \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Demonarchy<\/span>\u201d, \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Heaven Sent Hell On Earth<\/span>\u201d e \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Break Of Dawn<\/span>\u201d dove i tiratissimi riff ricordano vagamente Metallica o Megadeth (con le dovute distanze), mentre \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">The Unholy Gathering<\/span>\u201d, \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">And The Zombie Says<\/span>\u201d e \u201c<span mce_name=\"strong\" mce_style=\"font-weight: bold;\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">The Night The Monsters Died<\/span>\u201d si rivelano pi\u00f9 articolate ed arrangiate.<\/p>\n<p>Concludendo, un esperimento pi\u00f9 che riuscito da parte dei nostri mostriciattoli finlandesi, un disco godibilissimo dall\u2019inizio alla fine e che ci lascia con un domanda: quale delle due strade percorreranno in futuro i Lordi ?<\/p>\n<p>In attesa di un prossimo album che possa darci la risposta, torniamo a gustarci questo Monsterophonic, ne vale la pena.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":60,"featured_media":34412,"template":"","class_list":["post-34257","review","type-review","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>LORDI - Monstereophonic (Theaterror vs Demonarchy) - Heavyworlds.com<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heavyworlds.com\/it\/review\/lordi-monstereophonic-theaterror-vs-demonarchy\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"it_IT\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"LORDI - Monstereophonic (Theaterror vs Demonarchy) - Heavyworlds.com\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"I Lordi con questa loro ottava fatica sono ben decisi a fare il salto di qualit\u00e0 e a dimostrarci di essere musicisti capaci di dare quel qualcosa in pi\u00f9, ma andiamo con ordine.
