Hexed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hatecrew, <\/strong>siete pronti per il nuovo capitolo di una delle pi\u00f9 famose melodic death metal band finlandesi?<br \/>\n<strong>Alexi Laiho <\/strong>e band sono tornati con un nuovo sorprendente disco, che \u00e8 riuscito a guadagnarsi un ottimo spazio dopo gli ultimi 2 grandi album, che anche se differenti tra loro, sono stati apprezzati dai fan:\u00a0<strong>\u201cHalo Of Blood\u201d <\/strong>del 2013, con la sua atmosfera oscura, quasi tendente al doom ed \u00a0<strong>\u201cI Worship Chaos\u201d <\/strong>del 2015 con le sue linee molto pi\u00f9 moderne.<br \/>\nAnche nel caso di <strong>\u201cHexed\u201d <\/strong>si pu\u00f2 notare un nuovo cambio di stile, i nostri hanno infatti sfornato un lavoro meno oscuro e veloce, dando spazio a linee melodiche e canzoni che tendono leggermente all\u2019heavy metal.<br \/>\nI tempi di <strong>\u201cSomething Wild\u201d <\/strong>sono molto lontani, perci\u00f2, se sperate che quest\u2019album sia un nuovo tentativo di ritorno a quelle sonorit\u00e0, sbagliate; fossi in voi per\u00f2, da fan, darei un\u2019occasione a questo album, che \u00e8 stato ben lavorato e ben scritto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>P<\/strong>artirei con la recensione del disco dal primo assaggio che abbiamo avuto di esso e non parlo del singolo <strong>\u201cUnder Grass And Clover\u201d<\/strong>, ma del grandissimo artwork disegnato da <strong>Denis Forkas<\/strong>, , molto \u201cold school\u201d che ha staccato dal resto dei lavori precedenti della band, come oggetto in primo piano non pu\u00f2 per\u00f2\u00a0 mancare <strong>\u201cRoy\u201d<\/strong>,la figura incappucciata che ha sempre accompagnato i <strong>Children Of Bodom <\/strong>durante la loro carriera.<br \/>\nUnico appunto che vorrei fare per quanto riguarda l\u2019artwork, \u00e8 che dal tipo di disegno mi sarei aspettato sul disco sonorit\u00e0 diverse, tendenti al black, ma magari \u00e8 solo una mia impressione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L<\/strong>a tracklist parte con i due singoli gi\u00e0 usciti, <strong>\u201cThis Road\u201d <\/strong>e <strong>\u201cUnder Grass And Clover\u201d<\/strong>, due bei pezzi abbastanza diversi tra di loro, il primo musicalmente pi\u00f9 complesso ed il secondo pi\u00f9 melodico, che mi ha ricordato in qualche modo <strong>\u201cWas it Worth it?\u201d <\/strong>del loro album \u201c<strong>Relentless, Reckless Forever\u201d<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSeguono <strong>\u201cGlass Houses\u201d <\/strong>che non mi ha convinto a pieno, soprattutto per il ritornello ed\u00a0 <strong>\u201cHecate\u2019s Nightmare\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 con la sua aura misteriosa ed un intro ad effetto \u201ccarillon\u201d, questo \u00e8 uno dei brani pi\u00f9 calmi dell album, improntato sul metal classico e melodico; della canzone in questione ho specialmente apprezzato l\u2019assolo, che sebbene si discosti leggermente dagli schemi utilizzati solitamente dal frontman Finlandese, colpisce l\u2019udito.<br \/>\nSuccessivamente si cambia ritmo con <strong>\u201cKick is a Spleen\u201d <\/strong>che come suggerisce il titolo ci d\u00e0 un calcio alla milza, intro spinto, riff potenti ed un bel brakdown che ci introduce all assolo; questo brano sembra creato per un \u201cWall Of death\u201d, la sequenza di accordi entra subito in testa cosi come l\u2019assolo in puro stile <strong>Children Of Bodom, <\/strong>con il tipico passaparola chitarra-tastiera tra <strong>Alexi <\/strong>e <strong>Janne.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Segue <strong>\u201cPlatitudes and Barren Words\u201d<\/strong>, che qualcuno di voi avr\u00e0 gi\u00e0 sentito meno di una settimana fa guardando il video ufficiale della stessa ed \u00a0<strong>\u201cHexed\u201d<\/strong>, che definirei come una delle migliori canzoni dell\u2019album, questo brano ha tutto, bei riff, un bel ritornello, bell\u2019assolo, \u00e8 abbastanza spinta ed apporta una \u201cnovit\u00e0\u201d ,se cosi si pu\u00f2 chiamare, il dissolversi degli strumenti alla fine del brano lascia in primo piano per la prima volta da quello che posso ricordare il basso di <strong>Henkka<\/strong> , con un suo solo, nulla di speciale, nulla di tecnico, ma c\u2019\u00e8 e fa la sua bella figura, non me lo sarei mai aspettato ed \u00e8 stata una piacevole sorpresa.<br \/>\nSeguono <strong>\u201cRelapse (The Nature of My Crime)<\/strong>, <strong>Say Never Look Back<\/strong> dove viene dato spazio per un piccolo solo\u00a0 anche al batterista <strong>\u201cJaska\u201d <\/strong>e <strong>\u201cSoon Departed\u201d<\/strong>, un altro pezzo abbastanza lento, piacevole ma monotono.<br \/>\nL\u2019album si chiude con <strong>\u201cKnuckleduster\u201d <\/strong>, il suo intro con l\u2019utilizzo del china \u00e8 molto avvolgente e la canzone \u00e8 buona, anche se mi ricorda qualcosa di gi\u00e0 sentito dei nostri <strong>COB<\/strong>; sinceramente come fine del disco avrei apprezzato maggiormente <strong>\u201cHexed\u201d<\/strong>.<br \/>\nNella versione deluxe saranno presenti i pezzi live di <strong>\u201cI Worship Chaos\u201d <\/strong>, <strong>\u201cMorrigan\u201d <\/strong>(entrambi provenienti da \u201c<strong>I Worship Chaos\u201d<\/strong>)ed il remix di <strong>\u201cKnuckleduster\u201d, <\/strong>stranamente nessuna cover.<strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong>I <strong>Children Of Bodom <\/strong>son riusciti a creare un altro fantastico album, i ritornelli entrano subito in testa e le canzoni sono praticamente tutte piacevoli.<br \/>\nSembra di tornare nel 2000\/2005 con qualche briciola di album pi\u00f9 recenti, questo lavoro non pu\u00f2 passare inosservato.<br \/>\nLa produzione non \u00e8 male ma la batteria (specialmente il charleston) \u00e8 inascoltabile, il suono sembra finto, per il resto tutto ok anche se a fare i pignoli, avrei anche alzato leggermente il basso, ma non \u00e8 comunque male.<br \/>\nChe dire, l\u2019album mi ha letteralmente sorpreso superando le mie aspettative, c\u2019\u00e8 qualcosa che cambierei ma \u00e8 comunque un ottimo lavoro, e come tale lo premio con un bell 8,5.<br \/>\nOra ci tocca aspettare il live e la domanda vien da s\u00e9, riusciranno i pezzi di <strong>\u201cHexed\u201d <\/strong>a prenderci dal vivo?<br \/>\nPresto lo sapremo, ma fino a quel momento possiamo solo chiuderci nella nostra stanza, prendere una buona cuffia da studio ed ascoltarci questo nuovo successo firmato <strong><em>Children Of Bodom.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":86,"featured_media":36009,"template":"","class_list":["post-36008","review","type-review","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>CHILDREN OF BODOM - Hexed - Heavyworlds.com<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heavyworlds.com\/it\/review\/children-of-bodom-hexed\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"it_IT\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"CHILDREN OF BODOM - Hexed - Heavyworlds.com\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Hatecrew, siete pronti per il nuovo capitolo di una delle pi\u00f9 famose melodic death metal band finlandesi?
