[ENG]<\/em><\/strong> With “Slave Machine<\/strong><\/em>“, Nervosa deliver a record built for impact rather than nostalgia. Instead of relying on retro formulas, the band pushes toward a darker and heavier version of modern thrash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guitars dominate the album with razor-sharp riffs that jump between relentless speed and crushing mid-tempo grooves, while the rhythm section keeps a constant sense of urgency and momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tracklist plays a key role in the album\u2019s effectiveness. The opening moments build tension before quickly erupting into full-speed aggression, and the title track immediately stands out with its punchy and memorable chorus. Mid-album songs slow the pace with heavier grooves and darker atmospheres, creating breathing space before the final stretch brings back speed, fiery solos and a powerful, stomping closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vocally, the performance adds an extra layer of extremity, pushing the sound close to death metal territory while maintaining a strong thrash identity. The slightly raw production enhances the sense of physical energy and keeps the record feeling alive and dangerous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the album feels like a controlled surge of adrenaline, powerful, focused and unapologetically heavy, confirming the band\u2019s ability to push thrash into a more intense and contemporary direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[ITA]<\/em><\/strong> Con Nervosa<\/strong><\/em> e il nuovo “Slave Machine<\/em><\/strong>“, il messaggio \u00e8 chiaro fin dal primo ascolto: niente compromessi, niente nostalgia sterile, solo thrash metal moderno che colpisce duro. Guidato dalla chitarrista e cantante Prika Amaral<\/em><\/strong>, il gruppo evita la semplice imitazione degli anni \u201980 e punta su un sound pi\u00f9 cupo, pesante e aggressivo. Le chitarre sono taglienti e compatte, con riff che alternano groove martellanti e accelerazioni improvvise, mentre la sezione ritmica lavora come un motore instancabile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anche la scaletta contribuisce molto al ritmo del disco: l\u2019apertura minacciosa introduce subito un\u2019atmosfera tesa che esplode rapidamente nei brani successivi, tra episodi velocissimi e altri pi\u00f9 lenti e schiaccianti. La title track spinge sull\u2019impatto immediato con un ritornello memorabile, mentre alcune tracce centrali rallentano il passo per dare spazio a groove pesanti e soffocanti prima della ripartenza finale. Verso la chiusura tornano velocit\u00e0 e assoli incandescenti, fino a un finale mid-tempo che lascia una sensazione di potenza compatta e controllata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La voce resta uno degli elementi pi\u00f9 distintivi: ruvida, rabbiosa, spesso vicina al death metal, ma sempre perfettamente incastrata nel linguaggio thrash. Il suono volutamente grezzo e vivo evita ogni patina troppo moderna e restituisce un\u2019atmosfera carica di tensione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In definitiva, \u00e8 un lavoro feroce e dinamico che dimostra come il thrash possa evolversi senza perdere identit\u00e0 e impatto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
